This set features the Cackling Skull from our Monsters of Madness series.
The Cackling Skull symbol replaces the highest value on each die.
Bought these for my DM's birthday and now everyone at the table wants their own set. The skull that replaces the highest number is such a fun touch, especially when someone rolls it on a big attack. These dice have completely ruined plain numbered sets for me.
I got these for my D&D nights and the skull replacing the 20 on the d20 is such a fun touch. Every roll feels like a tiny omen, especially when it lands on that grinning face. Great chatter piece at the table.
The skull replacing the max number on every die threw me off during the first roll, but it's grown on me. The etching is deep enough that you can actually make out the grin without squinting. Wish the d20 rolled a bit more evenly, but for the price I'm happy.
