The tentacles curl up just enough to cradle the candle without hiding the flame, which looks amazing once it's lit. It's heavier than I expected too, so no worries about it tipping over.
Bought this to hold my 1" pillar candles and it grips them perfectly without wobbling. The tentacles curling up the sides catch the candlelight in a way that's genuinely creepy in the best way. It's heavier than I expected too, so it doesn't tip over.
The tentacle design looks fantastic, and it holds my 1-inch pillar candle securely. Only wish the base had a bit more weight so it doesn't tip over easily.
